The first week in office, and even the very first day, Trump and Elon Musk began immediately bulldozing programs which effected people of color. DEI was one of the first targeted programs: including federal jobs which happen to employ many qualified people of color, USAID which offers global aid to organizations primarily effecting people of color in war, health crises, and famine driven areas, cuts to SNAP benefits, the Federal Aviation Administration, the Department of Labor, the Veteran Administration and much more. Now Igor aka Elon Musk and the DOGE squad has set their sight on Medicare, and with intentions to obliterate Medicaid.
Our white nationalist president Elon Musk and his stunt man, Donald Trump focused on terminating people who had only been working two years or less in in the Veterans Administration, or so "they" claimed. However, regarding federal agencies, there are people who have been "dismissed" who have also worked more than two years. There is also the belief by some political analysts these racists strategists were assuming many of the "probationary" workers would be DEI hires. Sounds like their modus operandi to me.
One of the biggest goals of Musk and Trump is to weaken minorities in the United States by targeting their income, their education, their health, and thereby negate the perceived threat of "race displacement". Only one in a position of hierarchical privilege can make an assertion of "race displacement". History demonstrates people of color encountered threats such as slavery and genocide--not race displacement. Annihilation would be more fitting for those cases.
But wait a minute! Did these Republicans simply forget how white racist minds stereotype people? Did they forget most of the people on welfare are white people? Did they forget who is the biggest welfare recipient in the United States? It is Elon Musk! Corporate welfare is welfare, and he rakes in nearly 8 million a day on government contracts, yet he is sh*tting on himself over someone getting $80 a month in food stamps? Crapping on himself because a mother receives Medicaid as she strives to ensure the healthy birth of her child. Piss running down his legs to his cloven hoofs because seniors, who once contributed their money to the system now want their social security checks.
The new authoritarian regime is now effecting white people, and by golly, the United States is NOW truly in a crisis! Yes, I am being sarcastic. Well hell, black people knew what Trump was about before he won the election in 2016. We knew we were dealing with a white supremacist, and we knew Trump's lack of character, and MAGA knew what he was like before they cast their votes. Kamala Harris and other Democratic leaders were steadily warning people about Project 2025. And anyone hearing or reading Project 2025 could see the makings of a white supremacist authoritarian regime. So now consider the electorate who chose Donald Trump, for this is the bigger problem.
An elitist racist like Elon Musk and pseudo billionaire wanna be Trump, would assume any benefit program regarding income, food, and health is compromised primarily of brown recipients. Their stereotype of those receiving such benefits is their Achilles's heel, because these cuts are effecting more white people simply by the numerical values based on population.
White people are now demanding answers from the Republicans they elected. Yet as we have witnessed, Congressional powers immediately declined in power when Trump resumed office, because Congress allowed Trump and Musk to stomp all over them. These scared out of their wits Republicans who lick Trump's shoes daily should wake up to the reality that their asses are going to be out of a job. Soon. They have not been defending their positions as congressional members anyway, so in the dictator's eyes, the Congress has already become obsolete. No, this is not what a democracy is about--we have become far from being democratic.
White MAGA feeling these cuts are going to protest because their jobs have been impacted, their VA care has been diminished, and their benefits from Medicare and Medicaid will be reduced. The consequences could be permanent and lasting. Eggs are higher, so high their food stamps are not enough to get more than one dozen at a time. Was the 2024 election about eggs or was it about race?
It was fine for the FAFO Trump supporters in the beginning, for they assumed government cuts would effect blacks. But now, many of the Latinos and whites for Trump are getting a kicking in the ass. One can definitely see the contention rising amongst whites now pissed off as their livelihoods are being effected. They never thought out, despite being warned about Project 2025 and Republicans touting cuts to gut Medicaid, that such devastating cuts would effect them. In their minds, and I have yet to understand this erroneous calculation, they assumed such cuts would be confined to blacks and other minority groups. They were warned by the Democrats.
It is imperative the elected Republicans be voted out their jobs come mid-term elections, for if Democrats can take back the House and Senate, we could impeach Trump and president Musk right out of the White House. Failure to do so, is likely disaster for this country as there may be no turning back.
Pride comes before destruction, Elon Musk. The day you fall, you will fall hard. And with any luck, Trump will be grabbing your shirt tail as you go down.
