The year 2025 is exhibiting to the world the most pathetic president and vice president in my life time of several decades. The United States now has a pro-Russia, pro-Putin administration in the White House. There are some tongue-tied Republicans who may disagree with the conduct our world witness today during the White House meeting with Donald Trump, J.D. Vance and Volodymyr Zelenskyy. Nevertheless, the same scared Republicans would still assert Russia did not interfere with the 2016 elections.
I am embarrassed as an American, but for anyone out there who might read this post, millions of us do not concur with our pathetic president, Donald J. Trump, and our pathetic vice-president J.D. Vance. It was truly heartbreaking and for perhaps a few souls brewing in the dark, hopefully it was enlightening. Our president is friends with our major adversary. I wonder what Putin has on this bozo. Russia will strike us eventually, one day, in some way. Make no mistake, Vladimir Puitn hates the United States with all his dark soul and being.
I do not think I have ever witnessed a dignitary from another country treated so disrespectful, and remarkably, this even includes our adversaries! Donald Trump is in Vladimir's Putin back pocket, and eventually, Russia will make a move against our country. It is reprehensible for any leader to engage in the contemptuous behavior as we seen Trump and Vance exhibited towards Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy. You can just see Zelenskyy's face assuming incredulous expressions throughout the meeting. It was truly heartbreaking and painful for me to watch videos of it.
I previously mentioned in a different post about the "mineral deal" Trump is proposing to Ukraine. It is very reminiscent of what we once considered to be the Chicago protection rackets--in the style of Al Capone and other gangsters. This meeting was a shameful disgrace, our White House is a shameful disgrace, and the Republican party is a shameful disgrace. What we have witnessed with this meeting between Trump and Zelenskyy would had accounted for an impeachable offence 30 years ago, if not sooner. And certainly, extortion is an underhanded tactic. This is a mafia style administration, folks, make no doubt about it. Even their language style speaks it.
Trump was so condescending towards Zelenskyy, including the outer space cadet "yes man" Vance telling him he should be "more grateful", "more thankful". Audacious and sick! This is one disturbed group of people--on every level. Lindsey Graham, another sick S.O.B. has called for Zelenskyy's resignation, when actually it is Graham's old fixture ass which should resign. Pathetic, the Republican party is truly pathetic.
Trump does not want the United States to be a part of NATO. I expect either the United States will remove its membership, or NATO will remove our membership. Withdrawal by any means is fine with this administration. No one will be more pleased than Russia's communist tyrant, Putin.
Zelenskyy is wasting time meeting with Trump, and I found it odd both Trump and Vance to be in the same meeting--like a group of gang members set out (perhaps setup?) to bully someone in great need. It is a travesty our nation has come to this. Ukraine should seek assistance from its true allies because of the Trump administration's reversal concerning the war. I hope they will remain in their fight against Russia, and that their troops do not loose heart. Today is far from morale boosting for the troops engaged in the War in Ukraine. This day will forever be remembered as a dark day in the history of American diplomacy.
