I started this blog desiring to express my opinion on the role of Donald Trump's administration in fueling white nationalism in our country, the United States. And as we have seen, Elon Musk, who has never recovered from the dismantling of apartheid in South Africa, is playing a critical role in the "new government". This has become an authoritarian regime; increasingly disregarding constitutional laws and creating its on set of "decrees". The Republican party applauds the Trump administration and is an integral part of this new regime, as the party is a key component in setting our fascist state in motion.
Blacks and other minority groups have not faced so great a challenge in decades. All may come to lose our democracy soon. As a black woman, I feel it is imperative Blacks quickly mobilize to counter this evil tide against our community. Do not be caught unaware--the government of yesterday is here no more! We cannot afford to be blindsided, nor should we operate in fear. I personally welcome all races to support us in our fight for equality and democracy, in fact, U.S. history reflects support outside our race, including early abolitionists. Know this now--I detest racism towards any group.
