Trump Wants To Hide The History Of Slavery

Donald Trump and the MAGA crowd with their racist delusions, believe the Smithsonian Museum has a clandestine motive to replace white people. All by simply displaying historical artifacts and documents in exhibitions.  The museum is now being accused by the MAGA crowd as having an  "overemphasis on slavery".  This insidious phrase was hissed out by Lindsey Halligan, an assistant to Trump on a Fox News televised segment. Trump's mission is not only to "make America white again" but to "make American history all-white again". No doubt he will eventually execute directives against exhibits on indigenous cultures. Halligan further objects with this pathetically dumb statement "I think there should be more of an overemphasis on how far we have come since slavery.” We, as a nation, have regressed back in time regarding the state of black Americans through relentless targeted, oppressive assaults by the Trump administration.  And the narrative by some people claiming blacks have the same access to employment, government, ownership without obstacles is blatantly false. 

How in the hell is the Smithsonian biased or woke? It is an insane assertion to declare a political agenda on museum exhibits which display artifacts and documents from actual historical events. The institution of slavery in the United States is a historical fact. How does a discussion or a display in a museum constitute a term like "woke" being applied to such exhibitions, obviously a word which now breeds vile white contempt? The term "woke" being used by racists is a derogatory term, whereas for me and many others it is a good term. Damn right I am WOKE. I am musing to myself, wondering if there are any white readers thinking I sound "aggressive".

The new authoritarian regime composed of white supremacists wants to erase the history of blacks in America.  They also want to keep black history out of public schools, claiming teaching it is "inciteful". The Smithsonian, other museums, and public schools must resist this white supremacist takeover to rewrite American history of the United States.

Our felon-in-chief quipped on Truth Social "The Smithsonian is OUT OF CONTROL, where everything discussed is how horrible our Country is, how bad Slavery was, and how unaccomplished the downtrodden have been — Nothing about Success, nothing about Brightness, nothing about the Future." This racist thug is destroying our future--our democracy!

Recall early on in the first week of Trump's second administration, he immediately came out swinging against D.E.I programs not only in federal institutions, but also urged private companies to rid their D.E.I programs--companies such as Target and Amazon. Walmart had already in anticipation of an electoral victory by the white racist savior "rolled back" their D.E.I programs before Trump's declaration. Remain strong in avoiding these companies. Trump turned to employing his racist tactics towards universities which receive federal funding, such as Harvard, demanding the university completely abolish D.E.I. programs directed at diversifying campuses. Next, he will try to control the curriculums of universities.

Not long after the beginning of his second term, Trump began targeting the National Museum of African American History by signing an executive order against it stating "Museums in our nation's capital should be places where individuals go to learn ‒ not to be subjected to ideological indoctrination or divisive narratives that distort our shared history," Does anyone out there believe Trump wrote that statement? He believes its racist content, but he damn sure didn't write it. What is divisive? Trump has always been divisive. History is history. There is no distortion--only a bunch of b.s. to rewrite history for his white supremacist agenda. It is all about white supremacy.

There is nothing to indoctrinate, nothing to divide when discussing historical facts of the past. Slavery occurred and black people in this country have always been oppressed. Historical facts like hosing black people down during civil rights protests, whites only signs in public establishments, and Africans slated for slavery on auction blocks to be purchased by slave owners--these are historical facts. 

History is important for the future. We need to discuss slavery, the mistreatment of blacks in this country, the genocide directed against Native Americans, the assassination of John F. Kennedy, September 11, and other historical events. What would you think if Trump executes an order not to have museum exhibits about the attack on the World Trade Center... 'instead lets focus on bright and whiter days ahead.'  It will likely never happen, because his  focus is on exhibits regarding non-whites.  However, Trump does not give a damn about the September 11 first responders or their health, as Elon Musk and Trump where quick to slash 20% to the WTC Health Program, and fired critical staff as well.

Donald Trump does not have the intelligence to orchestrate all which is contributing to the demise of our democracy- this is all part of Project 2025 and the Republican drive to "make America white again".   In March of 2025, white supremacist Secretary of Defense Pete Hegseth went on a  frenzied mission to remove black historical figures, including Hispanic, Asian, and female veterans from the Pentagon's Arlington National Cemetery website to further comply with anti-D.E.I. initiatives. A PBS article states "Thousands of pages honoring contributions by women and minority groups have been taken down in efforts to delete material promoting diversity, equity and inclusion....".   Additionally, Hegseth has sought to rename naval ships to detract from contributions from gay and civil rights figures. This is all part of their plan to purge history surrounding people which are a subject of their hate.

We also see the intrusion of the "great white replacement" philosophy in public schools across the nation. There are state initiatives to not teach what some whites have called "divisive issues", and slavery is the major one.  As I mentioned previously, slavery is a historical fact. The Holocaust is a historical fact.  The Vietnam war is a historical fact. We cannot ignore history. We are witnessing before our eyes that history is indeed repeating itself, because the Nazi Germany playbook is being used by the Trump Administration. We must take a stand people and fight this regime. 

Synthetic Crumbs To The Masses--Ghislaine Maxwell

 

What a joke!  The Justice Department recently released an audio recording from the meeting between Ghislaine Maxwell and Deputy Attorney General Todd Blanche to appease the American public's demand for the release of the Jeffery Epstein files.

Maxwell, a convicted sextrafficker and pedophile with multiple convictions spanning years states in the recording she never saw Trump engaged in any "inappropriate behavior". Whether MAGA will buy this asinine approach on relying on the word of a habitual criminal--a child predator, remains to be seen. It behooves me anyone would take the word of this treacherous woman. If you believe otherwise, then feel free to invite Ghislaine Maxwell to babysit your children and grandchildren when she slithers out of prison or perhaps gets a pardon. 

The problem with pedophiles is such people do not understand "appropriate" versus "inappropriate" behavior.  These types of sick criminals do not understand boundaries.  Yet they understand how to lie and manipulate facts to receive a presidential pardon. And they certainly know how to try cover the tracks of their criminal behavior and live in a world of secrecy. Their chances of rehabilitation is remote, as the recidivism rate for pedophiles is statistically around 99 percent.

What a corrupt Department of Justice and Attorney General--Pam Bondi. It is almost like a fictional episode of Batman, yet worse, because it is really happening. Maxwell's goal is to receive a pardon for her silence and twisting the story to spin a favorable light on convicted felon, Donald J. Trump. The meeting between her and Todd Blanche swiftly resulted in the child predator being transferred into a minimum security prison. 

Don't buy it! Continue to demand the release of the Epstein files, and the client list! What a Justice Department! This is likely the most corrupt government in the history of our nation.

Washington DC Under Military Control--Black People Prepare!

I am not writing this post only to black people living in Washington D.C.; I am writing this to blacks all across our nation, plus to people of any race across the U.S. who intends to take a stand against the new authoritarian government in our nation. It is time we put non-essential concerns away and prepare for the police state which is coming for us, and indeed, to a certain extent is already here. 

We were actually forewarned of increasing militarization through the actions of ICE, which uses Gestapo style methods as Nazi, Germany did during the reign of Adolph Hitler. Consider the similarities with the terrorist organization ISIS, whose members hide behind masks just as we have witnessed with ICE agents on our own soil.  ICE has been allocated billions of dollars through the Big Beautiful Bill, and it is very evident the Trump administration places its priorities (on targeting non-whites). Of all divisions in government, ICE, (the United States Immigration and Customs Enforcement), received the most funding with the bill's passage on July 4, 2025. 

Recently, Trump employed the National Guard to Washington D.C., and commanded its forces to carry around in public automatic weapons--a further effort to intimidate its residnets. This is happening right now in Washington D.C., our nation's capital! The crime rate in Washington D.C. has been declining the past several years, and this rate decreased 26% percent from previous statistics. That is no small feat! The operation in D.C. is not only racist; but yet again, another slight of hand tactic to distract from the Epstein files. Additionally, so was the meeting between Trump and Putin in Alaska, which grandiose fanfare amounted to a bunch of nothing. Therefore it served its purpose well to distract from the Jeffrey Epstein issue Trump wants so badly to disappear. Now these new antics of a scared white supremacist will increase the crime rate by uping negligent homicide and manslaughter as his goons continue to engage in lawless tactics against D.C. residents. This threat will eventually make its way to all Americans--the illegal or unwarranted use of force by an increasing police state. 

What in the hell does it take for American citizens in the United States to wake up? Someone getting mowed down by some scared National Guard member who fears brown skin people? It will happen -it is only a matter of time.  And it will no doubt happen multiple times. Do you not know that around the world, people in other nations are horrified by what they are witnessing through their news about the U.S., yet our very citizens here remain blind, disinterested or hoodwinked!  It doesn't help to have virtually worthless national news stations such as ABC, CBS, and NBC where the majority of their broadcasts is devoted to quirky videos, new gadgets, and best recipes. Our nation is crumbling before our eyes and too many people and media outlets are acting like all of this is normal. None of this is normal!

Americans are living in some of the most dangerous times in decades. The Trump administration is NOW the biggest contributor to the unsafety of Americans, whereas before it was threats from "regular crimes".  Ironically, Trump, a 34 count felon, continues to drums out chaos to overshadow the Epstein files, and has declared a "war on crime" in Washington D.C., yet this very same man should be sitting in a prison. His fear of prison is one of the reason he intends not to leave the White House in 2028. He would even take this country to war just to avoid facing punishment for his crimes. 

 If he could get by with it, Trump would just assume to execute homeless people just so his "residential locale" looks better. Where are the homeless to go? Do not believe Trump's b.s. about trying to find the people shelter, he could not give a rat's ass about them. No attempt will be made by his wicked administration, or the police force to help the homeless find adequate shelter. His one and only goal is to make them invisible, so his residence looks good while he reeks of bacterial sh*t.

Trump is a quintessential narcissist, and in his sick mind, all of the planetary bodies orbit around him. Only someone depraved like him would take advantage of a man's blood splatter from an assassination attempt so as to appear injured himself. To date, no medical report has been released on his rotten ear, because there is nothing in it, unless a doctor stated he is a foaming sociopath. 

According to the constitution, we all have right to protect ourselves, even to bear arms. We are living now in a country where people can masquerade as ICE agents, however, they may be actually "regular" criminals. Because these goons refuse to identify themselves or show their faces, citizens are clueless to who is accosting them, or forcibly entering their homes. Now "regular criminals", including rapists are taking advantage by mimicking the American Gestapo. Also,  ICE agents have been already physically assaulting people daily, sporting masks everywhere they go. By law, these people are suppose to identify themselves, and not to be maskless. The government is hiring any for ICE who can fart and chew gum at the same time--the major requisites for the position. 

All of the uncertainty has made me come to a realization; that the time has come for me to bear arms. Actually, I came to that conclusion in January 2025. I feel a need to have protection more than ever.  I would suggest black people be vigilant, and from what we are seeing from D.C., we should take steps to protect ourselves. We simply do not know what may be coming our way, but we do know this--a lot of these measures by Trump is fueled by racism, starting day one in the White House, January 2025. Whether black, white, Asian, Native, Hispanic, or of another ethnicity, the time to consider protection is now. You do not know who may come at your door, unidentified, or accost you on some street. Anyone opposing this authoritarian regime is at great risk. 

For the love of God people, vote in the midterms. Get registered to vote if not registered--impeachment of Trump will save lives!

Texas Democratic Representatives Hold Out Only Two Weeks

They're coming back. Whoopee doo dah sh*t...nothing. Hell, how are Democrats going to convince apathetic people and eligible voters they are considering the best interest of their electorate, while consistently showing themselves weak time after time?

When the Texas Democrats house members left after Govenor Greg Abbott's attempt (and no doubt Republicans are poised again) to gerrymander the mid-term elections by redistricting, I got so charged, and many others got charged up with new found hope! But now the Dems are returning back, envisioning themselves as heroes and heroines, but they ran only part of the race! I liken them to some of Elon Musk's space rockets, sputter a minute, and then fall back to the earth with a thud.  What is this? A token gesture by the Democrats? People are not going to be fooled! The time to stir up the coals is now because our very lives and the fate of our nation depends on it!

You got thousands of people who do not give a damn about anyone other than themselves, and it will take a "Trump foot" up their ass to pull away from Netflix, lift up their heads and actually vote in the mid-term elections. Yet, there are so many people who have become calcified, disheartened, from repeatedly seeing no kind of fight put up by the Democratic party, and such are dealing with resignation. There is a significant portion of people who feel like their vote doesn't matter. I think it matters more when you do not vote--then you get an authoritarian dictator ruling the United States like we do now. Yes, I am disheartened and cynical, but I will be casting my ballot every opportunity I get, and I am in a red state.

Hats off to California's Governor Gavin Newsom for working on a special vote so as to redistrict by existing rules; but myself, I would had said be damn the rules. I could be wrong to feel this way, and I will have to contemplate upon this issue more. My concern is with two things: will there be enough support on November 4 by voters to pass the redistricting initiative, and secondly, Newsom has set up a public expectation for other blue states to adopt the same measures. A smaller state may not have enough engaged voters to pass a similar proposal. The Democratic party thanks to ruthless Republicans, must engage in new strategies: the kind of strategizing which must happen to survive in authoritarian societies as opposed to democracies. I would say the hell with dignity and the "right way" at this point to match the unscrupulous methods employed by Republicans lawmakers.

Wake up people and take note. Our democracy is gone. We can see a militarized white nationalist regime taking more and more shape given the events with ICE and currently, the federal police takeover in Washington. Trump had the audacity to demand five more Republican seats in Texas, and ordered redistricting. The scared Republicans immediately scrambled to enforce his mandate. Droop diapers Trump is intending to build a ballroom in the White House--this white nationalist is planning to go nowhere--he is recreating Mar-a-Lago for his new Washington D.C. dream house! However, absent of young girls, of course. For in the dark recesses of his mind (which is 100% of his mind) he knows the possibility of prison time awaits if he leaves.

We have got to fight redistricting efforts by the Republican Party, and get people to elect Democratic officials. It may not be impacting uninterested people now, but it will eventually. Black people, you better watch out, because you are going to get blindsided if you do not wake up. The time for action is now, get registered to vote, get the word out on your social media platforms or whatever method you got--even by your mouth, and get prepared. We got some rough times coming our way like we have not seen in decades. And despite the fascist regime which has manifested, we have an opportunity in the midterm elections to turn this around, and get this president impeached. But we all must do are part--big or small, we must all stand up to this dictatorship. 

The Republican Party- Top Defenders Of Pedophiles

Well, well. Look at our nation's 34-count felon leader, going in circles to put out fires to divert people from the controversial Epstein files. The very same files Donald Trump campaigned on; promising if elected, he would release the files to the American public. However, let's look at what has happened after the cries from his MAGA cult grew louder and louder to release the Epstein client list. 

MAGA supporters have been drooling for the release of the Epstein files in anticipation of Democratic politicians and public figures being exposed for pedophilia. However as the thug-in chief calls for FBI agents to pour over all the files at the anxious urging of "no integrity Attorney General Pam Bondi", the agents were instructed to redact any mention of Trump's name. Notice, not the name of the victims-- instead agents are to seek out the name of Donald Trump. Consequently, some of the MAGA cult out of allegiance to their crowned felon have softened their cries. What a stupid group of people--it's just plain mind-boggling to think on their stupidity. It will give your brain cramps!

Ironically, Trump has raised discontent from the likes of Alex Jones and Marjorie Taylor Greene who have always worshiped him (and still do). These two MAGA loons along with other notable characters have remained adamant that the Epstein files be released. Slimy and sleazy Attorney General Pam Bondi has come to the rescue, lest one of the pedophiles to be exposed besides Gishlaine Maxell and Jeffery Epstein is a person in the White House. Need I say more?

All of the congressional Republicans, including "man in a cape Mike Johnson" has come to Donald Trumps rescue after a committee comprised of both Democrats and Republicans demanded the files be released. Johnson, a MAGA pseudo-Christian convened Congress until September to buy the felon-in-chief some time to come up with a plethora of chaos to dissuade public interest.  Amazing how the Republican party is working so hard to protect pedophiles in the Epstein files. Even the Republican electorate has shrunk back to allow these rotten pedophiles to visit their communities--perhaps even their own children. Nothing like parental love. Not. Well, not when it comes to Republicans at least.

Do not give me some bullsh*t like Mike Johnson recently squeaked about protecting the Epstein victims in a news conference.  He and his Republican constituents do not give a damn about those victims--if they truly cared about sexual assault victims, they would not let pedophiles victimize other children. And the efforts low life Pam Bondi and FBI head Kash Patel concocted in a frenzy to remove all mention of Trump in the Epstein documents could had been readily applied to the name of the victims-- as opposed to the perpetrators. It is very obvious that Donald Trump is littered all throughout the documents.  A good number of these victims have spoken out, so Mike Johnson need not lose another two seconds of sleep over them like he did last month.

Recently Todd Blanche, Deputy Attorney General serving under Pam Bondi at the Department of Justice, met with Ghislaine Maxwell in a Florida prison. Maxwell is serving a 20 year sentence for molesting and grooming underage girls for various clients, Jeffery Epstein, and for her perverted self. Now recall, weaseled eyed Blanche was previously Donald Trump's defense attorney in the hush money trial where money was offered to porn actress Stormy Daniels to buy her silence. Trump is much accustomed to buying silence, as it is quite apparent Blanche under Pam Bondi's and Trump's direction is attempting to buy Maxwell's silence. Blanche met with Maxwell and her attorney for hours over a period of two days. 

New developments soon occurred after the meeting with the Deputy Attorney General and Ghislaine Maxwell. The relentless and prolific child predator was moved from a security facility in Florida to a minimum security federal prison in Bryan, Texas, which offers better amenities. Inmates, or perhaps the term "residents" fits better, have the luxury of limited restrrictions, utilizing indoor recreation facilities, and have their own private rooms. They also can participate in arts and crafts, work assignments, and roam around the grounds. Does this sound like a fitting punishment for a sick sex trafficking pedophile like Maxwell? Apparently the Trump administration and the Republican party thinks so. It is a no brainer that some serious wheeling and dealing went on in the meetings between Maxwell and Blanche. All for the sake of Donald Trump, and no other. Not for Maxwell (although she clawed what she could from the meetings), and certainly not for the young girls who were molested.

What a group! The misogynistic, pedophile protecting Republican party think they represent the morale compass of  American society. They are immoral and unethical; resorting to any dishonest method available to them if it meets their nefarious purposes. Speaker of the House Mike Johnson is trying his best to run interference to protect Trump, not the children! I have yet to hear or see a single Democrat willing to protect or excuse any potential Democratic client which may be listed in the Epstein files--not one single person! The American public has a right to know and identify pedophiles; not only to identify them and protect children, but to hold them accountable! 

Release the Epstein files, release the client list! Trump ran on releasing these documents as a campaign promise. The Epstein issue could be laid to rest if Trump makes good on his promise; and therefore Trump should be off the hook since he says he has nothing to hide--right?  Why has he not given the American people the information they have a right to know? 

We all know why. Pam Bondi, Kash Patel, FBI and all of Trump's wicked loyalists know why too. 

Christian Nationalism Breeds Contempt Towards Other Christians

Christians on this earth are supposed to be messengers to an unbelieving world. Paul referred to himself as an Ambassador for Christ. I am a Christian believer, yet for many years I was an atheist. And if it were not for the fact I am a Christian today, when I now hear the MAGA leaders, MAGA Republicans, and their electorate; I would probably think to myself "I do not want to know your god". 

Christian white nationalism is not representative of the Gospel message. What we are witnessing in the United States is a far-right racist movement, which distorts biblical passages to gain support for its agenda of white supremacy, and to generate political support from white evangelicals already infiltrated with hate or prejudice. White MAGA supporters know what Trump and his minions are about: racists who focus on the great "white replacement theory". Their fear and contempt of minorities is their driving force behind destroying marginalized communities. Therefore, despite their so called "godly" speech, they are full of sh*t. Yes, I am one of those cussing Christians.

This country has always been a white supremacist nation. Yet we are now dealing with an authoritarian government, some would classify as a "theocracy". Yet this Christian nationalist movement which has spanned several decades in the making, only has reinforced and added to institutionalized and systemic racism which has always existed. This nationalist movement has chiseled away at constitutional law; even after states yielded more power after the Reagan administration. Consequently, we have seen an erosion between the boundaries regarding the separation of church and state, one of the major principals this country was founded upon.

I frequently watch Youtube for news information and political commentators, besides perusing my standard news websites such as the Associated Press, Reuters, Axios, and others. I am a liberal Christian, registered Democrat so I can vote in my extorting state, and I do believe in God and the gospel message which centers on Jesus Christ. So why hate me for it? I think its because in the United States, we got millions of mean and nasty MAGA racist white people who have torn our democracy down. You even got misogynistic blacks and Hispanics who voted for him, so there is more than Christian white nationalism contributing to the election of Donald Trump. Also, a significant portion of these MAGA "yea-whos" do not believe in Jesus Christ or the bible. 

Some of these political influencers paint all Christians with a broad brush-- be damned us non-hating Christians! A person is free to believe whatever you want to believe, or not believe. Free to be of a certain faith or no faith. But why put all Christians into a negative category based on the behavior of the Christian white nationalists?  

As a black woman, I know what prejudice is and what is racism; as I have been accustomed to it my entire life. There is a problem when people lump all people together because of their race, sexual orientation, or religion without knowing them. 

I used to be a volunteer at my former multi-racial non-denominational church, in a clothing ministry for people in need. Virtually every volunteer there was white (I was the only black), Republican, judgmental, and assumed the worse of everyone who came through our ministry doors. The ministry workers didn't know a damn thing about the people or their life's story. This irked the hell out of me, but I wanted to help out so I stuck with this insufferable group until I could not take my fellow volunteers anymore. Again, there is a problem when a person assumes the worse about a group of people based on stereotypes or the negative behavior of select people, and therefore project those negative qualities onto an entire group.  

My bad experience did not cause me to think all white Christians were that way.I do not equate the terrorist group ISIS with believers of the Muslim faith, nor should people equate white nationalist Christians (MAGA) to other Christians; those folks do not represent anything in the gospel message I believe in. Christian white nationalists will quote, distort, and twist certain scriptures for financial and political gain--and their kindred racists will consume it immediately up, even to aid in their rationale for hate. 

Also consider the black Christian church was instrumental to people during the civil rights movement. Black churches were a major place to assemble and rally for social justice; as opposed to advocating for Republican candidates--a common occurrence in certain predominately white churches. I do make a distinction between the two--for social justice is key for one's survival and way of life. It played a fundamental role in mobilizing blacks. 

If there was ever a point in U.S. history that blacks need to organize, it would be today. We we are being targeted by the Trump regime and the white nationalist agenda. Targeted literally for destruction of our jobs, our health, retirement, voting rights, civil rights, as the goal of these people riddled with hate is to run us into the ground. Blacks must arise to prevent this and fight this assault upon us and our nation.

It grieves me when I see people thinking all Christians are like MAGA racists: gay hating, Muslim hating, misogynistic and all the rest of their stinking sewage. People need to weigh carefully about making assumptions about Christians, as some of the ire I am detecting is quite unfair and blinded with prejudice.  The Christian nationalists will "use" God to galvanize evangelical support for their racist agenda and to appeal to the racist evangelicals. But I do not consider myself to be one of them. You may beg to differ, but that prejudice is on you--not me.

I will post more in the future on Christian white nationalism, because its latest emergence in the United States manifested in a very intricate and complex way. It is rather daunting, because one of the driving forces besides this group hallowed racism and bigotry is a very distorted view:  a belief the earth and its people must be "subdued" by government, so then Christ may return.  In essence, a lot of the Christian white nationalists believe the earth must be prepared satisfactorily for God by dominating political and governmental spheres--only then can Christ return. How convenient for their hateful rationales.  However, for most believers, Christ will return at the appointed time, and He does not need anyone's help to do so. 

 

SNAP Banned For Certain Foods In Twelve States

There must be a "convoluted" map for state initiatives pushing healthy eating habits for Americans while simultaneously cutting access to healthcare for said individuals. Do all Republicans think everyone is crazy, infused with a MAGA blueprint for brain circuits? 

Certain U.S. states now prohibit the purchase of what legislators deemed "junk food" by people using food stamp benefits, known as SNAP (Supplemental Nutrition Assistance Program).The following states have placed restrictions on food purchases: Texas, Iowa, West Virginia,  Colorado, Louisiana, Oklahoma, Arkansas, Idaho, Indiana,  Nebraska, Florida, and Utah. Looking awfully red here. Ah, yet isn't it heart warming? These conservatives are so caring, wanting uninsured people to eat more healthy as uninsured people bleed to death.  Robert Kennedy Jr. could not be any more pleased. 

The very states denying food choices to people with SNAP benefits are the same states shredding their residents health benefits to non-existence. Oklahoma's Governor Kevin Stitt, a skilled MAGA Trump brown noser was quick to celebrate the new changes and is "excitedly" chirping how beneficial it will be for the health of Oklahomans. (Why does Jethro Bodine come to my mind...hmm). Even before Trump won the 2024 election, Stitt pushed for 200,000 people to be taken off Medicaid and indeed, all of them completely lost their benefits. Oklahoma has been ranked below 47th or lower for decades for poor healthcare outcomes. Little wonder when so many residents are uninsured plus the lack of medical experts and medical advances within the state. 

From a news article it is stated "The U.S. Department of Agriculture has approved Oklahoma’s waiver request to exclude certain junk foods from the Supplemental Nutrition Assistance Program, called SNAP....As part of the Make Oklahoma Healthy Again Campaign, Gov. Kevin Stitt announced the state is requesting a federal waiver to exclude certain junk foods from SNAP purchases. Almost 700,000 Oklahomans participate in the program, according to the USDA."

This will include things such as hot foods, soft drinks and candy. Another reason  for this change besides the Republican bogus "we care about your health" claim, is the federal cuts implemented by the Big Beautiful Bill would require all states to pick up the slack in funding the SNAP program. It doesn't take a rocket scientist to see cuts will also occur on a state level as well regarding these benefits. 

I personally believe it is a contemptuous punitive measure, devoid of any concern for the health of lower income people. Their goal is to stigmatize, ostracize, and demoralize the spirits of lower income people. Consider children, who often eat candy and snacks to celebrate birthdays, holidays, or may even be rewarded occasionally for good conduct or accomplishments. The implementation of these changes to SNAP will result in another way for a child to feel "different" than others, feel "less" than others, and to not be deserving to have some normalcy in their lives. Grocery stores are also concerned about the impact upon their revenues.

The Republican campaign to make America healthy again is a crock of crap. Do you think conservatives want children healthy when they have supported the Big Beautiful Bill which is going to destroy health care for millions of people? In their racist white supremacist minds, they equate SNAP benefits to non-whites; however, the majority of food stamp recipients are white. 

Republicans view people in poverty and low income brackets as expendable and undesirable "elements" to society. In essence, this perspective stems from the racist concept of eugenics; an underlying current within many white supremacist groups, also seen in the history of Nazi Germany, and now the Trump administration. It is one of the reasons Trump and his constituents could care less about seniors and their social security. Such people are viewed simply as liabilities along with the disabled, including veterans.  Only the superior race excels; and in the grand mental delusion of the white supremacist, those racists with the most power and wealth take steps to ensure others will not excel while claiming their "superiority".  However, this notion of superiority is only institutionalized racism and the use of force through political and military control--fascism. 

The new oligarchy ruling the United States does not care about the health of anyone other than themselves, and their wealthy white constituents. It's a bad joke--make America healthy again through annihilation and degradation.

GOP Redistricting Texas To Manipulate Midterm Elections

Republicans are attempting to add 5 congressional seats in Texas at the public direction of Donald Trump to engage in gerrymandering. The party also seeks to gain possibly 3 or more seats in Florida by redrawing their state's voting districts to effect key areas of democratic strongholds, usually involving minority communities. The ultimate objective, as usual, is the diminish the power of votes from minority and other marginalized communities. No doubt there is a Republican push to do this in other red states across the nation.

The time has come for Democrats to do the same damn thing in the blue states. It is imperative, more than ever in this period of our country's existence for Democrats to adopt the Republican game plan and engage in redistricting in blue states.  The Republicans are sleazy pros at gerrymandering to diminish the power of minority regions, where residents typically vote for Democratic candidates.

We all know Republicans are very "seasoned" in creating difficulties for minority voters in an effort to deter or prevent people from casting their election ballots. Their nefarious methodologies include the removal of depository ballet boxes in minority communities, or to decree people holding drinks while standing in long voting lines are committing a voting violation--just a few of the devious methods this party has invoked before. MAGA goons have gone so far as to patrol voting premises visibly armed with semi-automatic rifles to intimidate voters; then later brag with glee about it on social media. Additionally, do not forget the controversy surrounding Brian Kemp in Georgia, targeting Democratic voter registration and discarding applications for meaningless things such as not putting a period after one's middle initial on a voter registration form. Hat's off to Stacy Abrams for standing up to the buzzard.

We need more people in democratic leadership who will slip off their compromising shoes and strap into their combat boots. Their complacency with a lawless administration and trying to act civil amongst a bunch of wolves is going to get us destroyed in the mid-terms, and will aid in the Republican destruction of our democracy. The Republicans are methodical in devising evil schemes to crush Democratic votes, just as they are methodical in delaying the implementation of certain policies within the Big Beautiful Bill, so as these changes will not impact its MAGA base before midterms. These dumb MAGA idiots will fall for it too.

Now, it is being said Nancy Pelosi is going to run again, and I say "Hell no--PLEASE do not run again". We need Democrats willing to challenge her and all of the other Democratic career politicians content to engage in "let's play Congress". We need leadership who will use some of the same ruthless ammunition the Republican white nationalists utilize, because spongy nerf balls cannot contend with fully automatic munitions. The Republicans fight without rules; it is time to serve some of their sh*t back to them. We need new stand up leaders in the Democratic party like David Hogg, Beta O'Rourke to join proven Democratic leaders like Jasmine Crockett, Al Green (both a target of the Texas redistricting), and I could name a few others--yet there is simply not enough congressional people coming down hard enough on the Trump administration! 

The Democratic leaders are not reaching their base, and apathy and resignation is rampant amongst our voters--and if the democratic leadership employ the same helpless "we are stuck in taffy tactics", we are not going to get the democratic turnout we need for the mid-terms. It is critical for the Democratic Party to start fighting this authoritarian white nationalist regime with boldness and to get in "good trouble". It is going to take glaringly loud stand up measures, disrupting committees, and the guts of Representative Al Green who disrupted the ever running from the Jeffrey Epstein files, Donald J. Trump, our convicted president.

The Brennan Center for Justice states in an online article "The Supreme Court’s 2019 decision in Rucho v. Common Cause greenlighting partisan gerrymandering has made things worse. The Voting Rights Act and the Constitution prohibit racial discrimination in redistricting. But because there often is correlation between party preference and race, Rucho opens the door for Republican-controlled states to defend racially discriminatory maps on grounds that they were permissibly discriminating against Democrats rather than impermissibly discriminating against Black, Latino, or Asian voters."

Section 2 is the part of the Voting Rights Act used to determine if states are gerrymandering to effect voter outcomes. In 2019, the Supreme Court ruled gerrymandering for party advantage cannot be challenged in federal court. This has opened the door for more unscrupulous actions in red states, always initiated by the Republican party. Well the time has come to get in the mud with this underhanded group of Republicans and fight likewise. Otherwise, are democracy has no chance in hell of surviving.

Trump is unapologetically stating to the news media he wants five more GOP seats, despite the Texas Republicans already having the majority. Also consider Clarence Thomas, the Supreme Court Justice who despises his own blackness and is eager to vicariously turn white by accommodation, as this black conservative wants to destroy Section 2 of the Voting Rights Act . This so fits him as he is absolutely a MAGAnut, who gets perks from white nationalist sugar daddies who do not demand sex, but constitutional distortion.

If the Democrats fail to the be the majority in the mid-terms we can kiss our beloved country goodbye. Blue states--it is time to engage in redistricting to the Democratic party's favor, modeling after the calculated tactics of Republicans. Follow the leading of Governor Gavin Newsom who is proposing redistricting if Texas proceeds with its gerrymandering plans. Blue states, therefore, should carve out Republican voters into smaller districts or swallowing them up in primarily Democratic districts to dilute their votes. Because if blue states do not take the same action, the Democrats will likely go up the creek and over a cliff in the mid-terms. 

I would like us to keep our democracy and our system of capitalism, but we are going to have to fight for it, and we all know the Republicans do not fight fair. It is time for the Democratic leadership to wake up, because it just may mobilize non-voting blacks and other minority voters to get their asses off their dream cloud of mental complacency, and vote this time. We have to address their apathy and Democratic leaders must address the electorate concerns as well. Working class, poor people, middle class, electorate service job holders, seasonal workers, farmers--all of these and more are voters; and also represent potential voters who have not been participating in elections.  All who can vote, should vote. And if you loved our democracy which once had a system of check and balances, vote against authoritarianism.
