Representative Al Green recently presented articles of impeachment to the House in regards to unconstitutional actions concerning the military attacks in Iran; the move was shot down immediately with tremendous "help" from fellow Democrats who sided with the GOP. 128 Democratic elected officials to be exact. Be sure to vote these people out. No wonder there is so much apathy amongst Democratic voters and non-voting liberals. In their minds, they likely contemplate "why bother". Recently, President Joe Biden's press secretary, Karine Jean-Pierre went from being registered as a Democrat to an Independent, leaving the Democratic party. The Democratic party is so out of touch with the American people.
Below you find a list of the 128 House Democrats who voted against impeachment, to keep our 34 count felon president and dictator, knowing damn well what is happening to our democracy. Note some of the names, such as Jamie Raskin and Nancy Pelosi. These are career politicians, and I do not care what their reasons are for not supporting impeachment. Al Green is one stand up guy--a one in a million type of person. You would had thought the 128 house members would had stood with Representative Green, and stood on the right side of history as opposed to an authoritarian tyrant.
Gee, no wonder people lose interest in politics, and do not vote. In their minds, there is no party who gives a damn about their lives, or have a clue what ordinary people face in this country.
Oh yes. I do want to mention, that David Hogg, a new leader who put a face on the Parkland High School shootings, has started a group called "Leaders We Deserve". This group emerge to counter the lack of effective leadership in the Democratic party, it is progressive, and I sincerely hope it gains ground and momentum like gale force winds. Anyway, back to the list.
